What sparked your interest to Fosbury & Sons?

"I already followed F&S on instagram because I really liked the vibe and interior. Later on, I started to read more about the concept, which really resonated with me. I instantly work/study better when I am in an aesthetically pleasing environment which makes me feel at home. I love that Fosbury & Sons wants to make that possible for all different people and companies and thereby contributing so much to quality of work and life!"

What do you like about working at Fosbury & Sons?

"The no 1 reason is definitely my colleagues and the company culture. I think it's amazing how much F&S, as a relatively young company, invests in its culture. Through a lot of trainings, we really established a framework and a common language to communicate, give/receive feedback, take responsibility, hold meetings and so much more. I believe a lot of companies can learn of this!"

What does your working day look like?

"Due to covid, things are a little bit different now, but normally I will switch turns with our Front Desk Officer to open our Albert location, set the lights, put on music, light the candles and make sure our beautiful Lobby is ready for the day! We will check in team whether there are events/meetings, new members moving in, tours planned, etc. and make sure everyone knows what to do. I will do some administration and internal mailings/meetings to make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Together with my LM-colleagues from other locations I will work on things that need to be improved or changed. In between, there are always some ad hoc challenges that come up during the day; members or colleagues that have questions, meetings or walk-ins that need help, etc. That's kind of my day."

To who do you look up to the most in life?

"Any woman who uses her voice and energy to make a (big or small) positive change in this world, while staying true to herself and doing it from a place of empathy and love. Some of the examples that come to my mind right now are Sophia Bush, Priyanka Chopra, Kristen Bell, but also my mom, my girlfriends,..."

How would your friends or family describe you in three words?

"Compassionate, Enthusiastic & Sincere."

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

"I love to craft and (re)decorate my apartment a couple of (too many) times! Besides that, I love doing apéros with my girlfriends, yoga, sightseeing some beautiful architecture with my boyfriend and visiting my family and family-in law at the country side!

If you could be another person for a day, who would you choose?

"I would find it super fascinating to be a Buddhist monk for a day, just to see what it feels like to live such a simple life focused on service and peace with a minimum of external stimuli."
