Passion for Business

We are all human beings. We work together in an elegant way, with a certain joie de vivre. Fosbury & Sons – what’s in a name – is the work of more than one individual. The synergy is within us: some of our Members are also our business partners and vice versa. Now is the time to put a spotlight on our Members! We talk to Katrin Van de Water of Passion for Business. About Passion for Business

Katrin Van de Water is founder of Passion for Business. As a Business Mentor she guides aspiring entrepreneurs to successfully sell a high-end offer, so they can earn very well with a simple business. Her clients are often coaches, trainers, advisors, consultants and successful, but they get stuck. Growth is no longer possible with the business model that brought them here. She teaches them how to position themselves at the top of the market, so that they can work with the nicest clients who are willing to pay well for the services they provide. A price adjustment is more than just adjusting numbers. It requires different skills and a different mindset. All of her clients are very enthusiastic: they learn new things, they can work with nicer clients who achieve much better results, they have more satisfaction and they have much more money left over.

She applies the high-end business model after she sold her previous company, Passion for Work, active in career coaching in 2019. She worked with a team of 16 freelancers, repeater turnovers of around €1 million, high costs, high stress level and an oversaturated market. Location-independent. For years she ran her business from her home in an olive grove high in the mountains in Andalusia. Later, she moved to Ibiza.

She's a single mom of an almost 2 year old son and was looking for a way to build a beautiful business in very little time, without a team, without complicated funnels and launches, and without sky-high advertising costs. She wanted to work with the nicest clients, in the most beautiful places and learned to challenge herself. And so she did. In the past 3 months she made a turnover of 100K and this while her son was quite often sick in December and couldn't go to the nursery. You see, anything is possible.

"I truly believe that entrepreneurship is the vehicle to achieve your ideal lifestyle. Whether that's working from abroad, spending a lot of time with your children, or taking 1 week of vacation each month to travel (which I did before I lived in the South). My vision is 'Live the life you want! Much more is possible than you think!"

Why Fosbury & Sons?

"Working with high-end clients comes into its own even more in a high-end venue, which is why I knocked on the door of Fosbury & Sons Harmony. I could do the coaching online, but I find it much nicer to see my clients in real life. They come from all over Flanders and the Netherlands to Antwerp to work on their business. Every single one of them is enthusiastic about the warm and beautiful reception at F&S. This location definitely contributes to the experience I want to give my clients: quality! I regularly post about it on social media and this certainly contributes to my Corporate Branding and those of my clients. They also share it on their channels and via their network."

What do you like most about Fosbury & Sons Harmony?

"I really appreciate the warm welcome by Charlotte and Wouter. I feel welcome there and I am always looking forward to go to work. It's in so many details that make the difference; candles burning everywhere, nice coffee and even a private coffee machine in the room, nice pencils, notebooks, connections for PC to share your screen on the wall,... Via the previous "Meet the Members" I met Andy Nijs. Since then, we occasionally have lunch together. It's also nice that there are very tasty and healthy lunches available downstairs. I am looking forward to meeting more like-minded people. Please send me a message! Let's connect, shall we?"

What is your favorite working spot at Harmony?

"I like the big open space upstairs. Wouter recently surprised me and my client by giving us access to the Board Room! Speaking of "overdelivery". I posted this on Instagram and this post really went viral."
