Meet the Members:
Boris, creative designer at Air

We are all human beings. We work together in an elegant way, with a certain joie de vivre. Fosbury & Sons – what’s in a name – is the work of more than one individual. The synergy is within us: some of our Members are also our business partners and vice versa. Now is the time to put a spotlight on our Members! We talk to Boris, creative designer at Air. Housing more than 30 of their employees, Air is a beloved member of Fosbury & Sons Boitsfort.

About Air

Air is Belgium's leading independent creative agency. Strategic, creative and results-oriented, Air provides brands with the extra meaning that is essential to their success today and uses all its craft skills to express it. The agency is committed to being an inspiration for a more sustainable world and a driver of action for its employees, clients and partners.

Why Fosbury & Sons?

"When we decided to move offices, I initially felt a bit sad to leave behind our stunning space, all made of glass and steel. But as beautiful as it was, its time had come. Our industry has evolved significantly over the years, and so have its needs. We're constantly adapting to drastic changes—COVID being a prime example—and that was a key reason for relocating to Fosbury & Sons in September 2021, if I remember correctly.

The flexibility offered by Fosbury & Sons has truly been a game changer for us. Moving from an office built for 200 people, which was both difficult and costly to heat, it’s been amazing to scale our space up or down as needed, all within the same building. Since moving to the sixth floor, we've already restructured our office setup at least four times, taking full advantage of that flexibility."

What do you like most about Fosbury & Sons?

"Beyond the technical aspects, on a more personal note, I absolutely love this iconic building. It strikes the perfect balance between modern style and the warmth of a mid-70s design, staying true to the vision of architect Constantin Brodzki and designer Jules Wabbes. The view of the forest is incredible, the showers downstairs are a real convenience, and I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the wonderful yoga classes every Monday, always taught by the kindest instructors.

Maintaining a healthy diet can sometimes be challenging with a busy lifestyle, and it’s all too easy to end up with either an empty fridge or food going to waste. That’s why it’s such a relief to have access to fresh, local, and seasonal meals prepared by Saskia from Ici chez vous, making balanced eating so much easier."

What is your favourite working spot at Boitsfort?

"This may not be the most original answer, but I love spending time by the pool table. It’s a great way to take a quick break and blow off some steam, even if I’m not the best player. In fact, I’m pretty easy to beat, but it’s always fun to play a game and relax for a while."

Last but not least, as we are at the start of a new year. What's your 2025 motto?

"La chance n’est pas un hasard, c’est apprendre à gagner les concours de circonstance."
