Front desk officer
Together with your front desk colleague, you will be the face of the Fosbury & Sons location and the primary contact person for everyone who visits.
Ensure that members and visitors get the best possible welcome during the opening hours, as you aim to achieve a hospitality level;
Make energetic small talks and try your hand at a range of languages:
oui, si, nein, mevrouw, monsieur;
Answer questions of our members and guide walk-in guests towards
your customer relations colleague with a commercial flair;
Take care of the incoming mail and packages, and other various admin affairs;
Handling the incoming requests and reservations for the meeting rooms;
Follow up on the bookings for the serviced meeting rooms and small events;
Make sure that the meeting rooms look flawless before the guests arrive, as you want them to have a perfect customer journey;
Support your team with the events and local program;
Assist your Sales and Event Management colleague with move-ins and move-outs of members, f.e. preparing the access badges.
Note: As you will be working in a small team, backing each other up is key. The job content can slightly differ from time to time due to (periodic) changes and the ever-evolving environmental requirements. These changes/adjustments will be discussed in advance with the local team and the job holder.
A degree in office management and/or some experience in hotel or hospitality industry.
You’re fluent in French and English, both oral and written, and it’s a bonus if Dutch is part of your repertoire.
By nature, you’re caring, and don’t need any prompting to work.
You’re ace at on-the-spot problem-solving.
You radiate maturity and professionalism.
You are flexible and have the ability to work efficiently in a scale up environment.
You’re hands-on, and can devise and realize solutions.
