set up and follow up of all partnerships (contracts) relating to building maintenance, ensuring that all third parties understand the values of Fosbury & Sons and deliver a high quality service;
take an active role in leading and organizing technical subcontractors and local property managers;
ensure that all safety requirements are in place;
manage and keep an oversight of the facility budget, identifying cost savings;
emerge as the first point of contact for building owners, being aware of all negotiated contract details
concerning the rent of the buildings;
handle building complaints and negotiate with the involved parties, representing the interests of Fosbury & Sons;
report periodically to HQ about the health of all buildings;
act as the go-to person for the Area Manager and local teams regarding all building and space related concerns;
optimize the general efficiency and effectiveness of the buildings, ensuring a smooth operational flow.
Note: As you will be working in a small team, backing each other up is key. The job content can slightly differ from time to time due to (periodic) changes and the ever-evolving environmental requirements. These changes/adjustments will be discussed in advance with the local team and the job holder.
What we expect
You live in Brussels/Antwerp or close by.
You have at least 5 years of working experience in facility, asset and/or property management.
You have technical knowledge of constructions, mechanical matters and HVAC.
Preferably you have a degree in operations or engineering.
You’re hands-on and can devise and realize solutions, being flexible towards changing business requirements and prepared to be on call out of the normal working hours.
You’re fluent in Dutch and English, both oral and written, and it’s a great bonus if French is part of your repertoire.
You are a strong communicator with excellent organizations skills.
