Live Streaming Cocktail Workshop by Humus & Hortense
On Wednesday 22nd of April F&S and Humus x Hortense are organizing a Live Streaming Botanical workshop where you’ll learn how to make one alcoholic & one non-alcoholic cocktail in 30 minutes!
Since 2017, Humus x Hortense has built up an enormous expertise in botanical, zero waste and sustainable cocktails.
The cocktails are cuisine-inspired, consisting of the unused kitchen leftovers such as herbs, wild plants and vegetables.
Therefore the name zero-waste, in which kitchen and cocktail bar are fully circular in the fight against food waste.
Sustainability also translates into 100% organic farm-to-cocktail ingredients and artisan spirits.
The interaction between kitchen and cocktail bar is expressed in kitchen techniques such as (lacto-) fermentations for the cocktails.

jun kombucha (kombucha made with honey and green tea)
pear kefir (kefir made with organic pear juice and infused with herbs or spices)
herbal oil (basil, chervil, rosemary, ...)
Twisted Manhattan (alcoholic)
4cl whiskey or bourbon
2cl red vermouth
